Since 2020, where possible we aim to reduce the cost of our ticket prices to ensure that our events are more accessible. Due to the impacts of COVID-19, some people, families and communities may have suffered increased financial hardship. It is important to us that we provide ticketing solutions that reduce any barriers to audiences participating in our annual events. If you would like to attend an event, but price is a barrier, we would like to hear from you so we can improve access to our events.

The following Ticket FAQs have been created to make the process of purchasing tickets for our events simple. If you have read the following information and you still have an outstanding query, please contact us and we will respond as soon as we can: info@dgartsfestival.org.uk

HOW CAN I BOOK TICKETS?

Online: visit our ‘What’s On’ page, click on the event you would like to attend and select the ‘Book Now’ button.

In Person: you can book at the venue. If you are purchasing a ticket for an Arts Festival 2022 event, you can either visit or call The Midsteeple High St (01387 253 383) or the Wigtown Festival Co. (01988 403 222).

IF I BOOK ONLINE, DO I NEED TO PRINT OFF MY TICKET AS PROOF OF PURCHASE?

No. You don’t need to print your tickets off at home to attend an event. After you have booked online, we take a register of your name so at the venue entrance, you can either state your name or show a copy of your booking via your mobile device. This will reduce the amount of paper printed.

WHAT IS THE PAY WHAT YOU CAN OFFER?

We offer ‘pay what you can’ tickets for our online programmes, at a minimum of £5 per ticket to watch world-class performing arts, on demand at home. We know that price is a barrier for some, and all funds raised through this model will help our organisation to continue to support local artists and present events across the region.

UNDER 26 DISCOUNT TICKET

If you are under 26, you can claim half price tickets on all our live events, supported by the Holywood Trust. To redeem, visit our ‘What’s On’ page, select the event you would like to attend, click ‘Book Now’, and pay for your ‘Under 26 Discount Ticket’.
