Join D&G Art Festivals’ new Ceilidh nights, where local artists bring you an evening of storytelling, theatre, dance and music that celebrates being Gallovidian. Enjoy local food and drink, watch local artists perform and experience a new kind of night out with your friends and family.
Hosted by Chelsie Nash, you will watch performances from Mostly Ghostly, Bunbury Banter, the Littlest Chicken, Jodie Rae and dance the night away with the Whirligig Ceilidh Band and Dumfries & Galloway Dance.
Stories shape how we understand the world, and our place in it. Let’s gather together and hear from local artists, who have created and collected stories from people in our region, based on our folk legends, history and traditions, our home and our future.
Doors open at 7pm, where you’ll have a chance to grab a drink, and take a seat at one of our cabaret-style tables. At 7.30pm, your host Chelsie Nash will guide you through your night as you get to watch four fantastic performances, enjoy a light bite of Scottish foods to eat at 8.30pm and dance the night away with The Whirligig Ceilidh Band until midnight.
For only £12, you will get:
- Six incredible artists entertaining you with theatre, dance, comedy, music and spoken word performances
- A light bite of Scottish delicacies
- A night to remember!
