A special outdoor extravaganza is heading to Castle Douglas this year!

Showcasing new work presented by leading national and emerging local circus artists, come and enjoy an incredible selection of acts featuring daring aerial feats, amazing acrobats, skillful jugglers and fire, in this 45-minute show designed for everyone in the community to enjoy.

There will also be an incredible Circus Workshop for audiences to take part in! Whatever your age, skill or ability: circus is for you!

Come and join our drop-in circus workshop to learn a new skill, have a laugh, challange yourself, achieve something new and leave with a smile on your face. Delighters’ circus workshops cover multiple circus skills including juggling, poi spinning, balancing, hula hoops, flower sticks and plate spinning. Circus is a great way to socialise and encourage ourselves to keep trying despite failure, because we always have the capacity to improve and learn.

You don’t need to have any prior experience to come along, but if you are shy bring a friend!

Timings for the Day:

13:30 – 14:15: First Cirqulation Show

14:30 – 15:30: Open Circus Workshop

16:00 – 16:45: Second Cirqulation Show

There will also be food stalls organised by the Castle Douglas Development Forum and access to the Crannog Family Activity Centre.
