Join us for our first Network Meet Up of 2024 on Wednesday 13th March at the CatStrand.

The event will start at 1.00pm. Please join us from 12:30pm on, for a coffee with the team.

We are excited to bring venues, artists, promoters and freelance industry professionals together from across Dumfries & Galloway to share ideas, network and help strengthen the health and sustainability of the performing arts in our region.

The programme of events will include – a panel discussion with our Support for Ambition 2023 award holders; a session led by Claire Mackay, Director of the Touring Network, discussing all things rural touring; and good food and refreshments; as well as some incredible performances from local artists.

1.00pm Welcome: D&G Arts Festival, the year ahead, 45th Festival, Year-Round Performance Events,    Creative Scotland – Multi years funding etc / Simon

1.30pm Liam Russell, Creative Producer and Aisling our Marketing Officer will also be sharing information about their new youth project UP YER AIRTS and discussing how they’ve created the project to be completely youth led and really make a difference to young people across D&G.
